Adam Ward, a Bipolar American, Executed in Texas: Bernie Sanders Objects

Make an immediate #humanrights demand that no persons with diagnosed mental illnesses should be executed in the USA. Make Adam Ward America's last disabled victim. https://www.usa.gov/elected-officials >> Ward was a 33-year-old severely bipolar man. He was killed by the State of Texas on March 22, 2016, during Passion Week. Like most execution victims, Ward was killed in the Bible Belt. The fact that his murder happened during the week when we commemorate the torture and wrongful execution of Jesus Christ underscores the hypocrisy of capital punishment and the urgency to end State murders, especially of mentally ill people.

The Huffington Post recently ran a story entitled "Bernie Sanders Speaks Out Against The Death Penalty After Hillary Clinton Stands By It." Senator Sanders said, "I believe it is time for the United States of America to join almost every other Western, industrialized country on Earth in saying NO to the death penalty." We at Assistance to the Incarcerated Mentally Ill ("AIMI") concur, and that is another reason why we endorse Sanders for president in 2016. Unfortunately, some people disagree that sick people should be spared from executions. Below is part of a conversation regarding capital punishment of mentally ill people from my Facebook wall:
Terry Harris I feel horrible about mental illness, however if they kill then they should be executed like everyone else!
LikeReply121 hrs
Walt Stawicki i don't know where to start ripping that one apart.
UnlikeReply220 hrs

Assistance to the Incarcerated Mentally Ill Define "everyone else," please, Terry Harris. Then please cite a case where a murderous #police officer or wealthy person was #executed in the USA. Thanks.

Supporting Sanders for president is one way to express your disapproval of capital punishment. We congratulate Bernie Sanders and everyone who can #FeelTheBern for our victories in the Alaska, Washington, and Hawaii primaries. We urge officials everywhere to say DEATH to the death penalty.

Condolences to the family and friends of Adam Ward and Ward's victim. It is likely that if Ward had received timely, adequate treatment for his mental illness, both he and his victim might still be alive. Our most vulnerable citizens are continually killed by untrained and/or sadistic police and corrections officers or by State executions. AIMI finds this completely unacceptable. Articles throughout "Dog Justice for Mentally Ill" blog prove that avoidable tragedies are caused by the denial of treatment and the fact that mentally ill people in crisis are allowed to refuse treatment unless and until they PROVE themselves to be an immediate danger to self and others. Then they are jailed if they live through their lunacy arrests. AIMI believes that such rules were not made to protect civil rights but to increase prison profits, resulting in 1.25 million mentally ill prisoners in America today.

Mainstream media can no longer ignore the correlation between mental illness being denied treatment and prison profiteering. Mary Sanchez wrote an op ed that was published in the Kansas City Star:
"A scary truth: When businesses see profit in prisoners with mental illnesses"
http://www.kansascity.com/opinion/opn-columns-blogs/mary-sanchez/article66940237.html
"And there’s growing public awareness that we’ve let our jails and prisons become warehouses for people who need treatment — and needed it long before they took a criminal turn. Incarceration rates are dropping. To most, this is good news. But it’s not if your business model revolves around keeping people locked up."

It is good news that Sanders has also taken a stance against private prison profiteering by joining other officials to introduce a solution. H.R. 3543, "Justice Is Not for Sale Act," pending before Congress now. would eliminate government contracts with private prison companies. Period.

Read more about Sanders' stance against the death penalty by Mollie Reilly in the Huffington Post
http://www.huffingtonpost.com/entry/bernie-sanders-death-penalty_us_56326622e4b00aa54a4d48ff

Note that media companies publish op eds by Mary Sanchez and not Mary Neal because Sanchez is white and the government did not kill her brother during a secret arrest (kidnapping). Nevertheless, the truth is going mainstream. Mass arrest and murders of mentally ill people continue under the color of law, whether their deaths are reported like Ward's or covered-up like Larry Neal's. See my Facebook page for Easter Week 2016 for information about other deaths (some of them secret) among people who were mentally ill or suspected of being under the influence.

We hope you had a pleasant Easter, if you celebrate that holiday, and that you will take action to prevent more executions, especially of mentally ill citizens, in the USA.

Thank you for giving Assistance to the Incarcerated Mentally Ill.
It would be illegal to keep a dog in a tight space 23 hours a day and gas or Taser him for barking. It would be illegal to put a dog in deadly restraint for control. That happens to mentally ill people routinely in the nation's correctional facilities. What happened to Larry Neal? Why are we still asking that question after nearly 13 years? Cover-ups regarding the wrongful deaths of mentally challenged inmates and free people in the USA are common and vile.

Mentally Ill People Deserve Dog Justice!

Killing Mentally Ill Georgians Is Habitual

Mentally challenged people are regularly killed in Georgia with or without a death warrant. Brandon Rhode died a horrendous, torturous death by execution -- killed by lethal injection drugs imported from behind a British bicycle shop. The young man was born with fetal alcohol syndrome. He lived a short, troubled life before being charged with murder and sentenced to death. Brandon was so afraid that he tried to commit suicide by cutting his own throat days before his execution. But Brandon failed and died a slow, brutal death on Georgia's execution table. Numerous other mentally challenged Georgians have been similarly put down like rabid dogs since Brandon, who is pictured below. See the wound on his neck from his failed suicide.

Killings of mentally ill people happen outside of prisons and jails, also. The nation was saddened this spring by the death of a U.S. Air Force veteran who went jogging naked. Because Anthony Hill, 27, was naked, it should have been obvious to DeKalb County Police Officer Robert Olsen that Hill had no weapon. It should have been possible for police officers to capture Hill without lethal force, but Olsen shot Hill and then used the universally accepted words: "I feared for my life." That explanation is especially effective killings of unarmed mental patients, it seems. It is as though eugenicists have ordered police to kill mentally ill Americans, including our veterans whose minds were affected in service to their country. See Hill, who was killed for streaking, in a photo below.
Murder of Matthew Ajibade, a bipolar computer science student, in police custody, and cover-up
http://www.nationofchange.org/2015/06/06/students-death-in-custody-ruled-a-homicide-after-9-deputies-fired/
The death of a 21-year-old computer science student in police custody has been ruled a homicide from blunt force trauma and has resulted in the termination of nine deputies who strapped him to a restraining chair on New Year’s Day 2015 and allegedly beat him to death. Although the county attorney’s office initially claimed that the deputies were fired last month (April 2015) for general policy violations, the coroner confirmed that the deputies lost their jobs on the same day that he signed the student’s death certificate. The student’s family only became aware of the death certificate’s existence after a photograph of the document was leaked on social media. Ajibade lived in an Atlanta suburb. His girlfriend reportedly told police that Ajibade had been diagnosed as having bipolar disorder three years ago, and that was probably why he was murdered.
I found it especially unacceptable for Georgia to execute Warren Hill. Hill allegedly killed his cellmate by bashing his head with a board of wood with nails driven through it. How did Hill get such a weapon in a controlled environment? Why did the mentally ill killer even have a cellmate? (Hill was incarcerated after doing another murder.) Hill was not the first mentally ill man in Georgia to kill his cellmate. It also happened in DeKalb County Jail a few years ago. I fear that if this trend continues to be successful, inmates the prison guards dislike will be matched with homicidal mental patients like Hill, who are equipped with deadly weapons that nobody accounts for them having.

Like all metropolitan areas in America, mentally ill citizens in the Atlanta area are being killed behind bars and on our streets, with or without due process of law. Because I write reports about these deaths, my computers and phones are attacked. I suspect this is done by DeKalb County Police, since they flatly refused to trace the IP addresses I gave police on a complaint, thinking that they would locate and charge the hackers. Instead, a DeKalb County Detective Miller told me it is NOT illegal to takeover my computers and phones, preventing incoming and outgoing calls, steal my emails, and steal documents from my computer's hard drive. This interference worsens as I complain rather than decreasing. I know of no exception to Americans' First Amendment rights if those rights are used to advocate for alternatives to homelessness, imprisonment, and deaths of mentally ill people.

I just wrote tweets to DeKalb County's acting CEO Lee May and told him how disturbing I find my computer and phone sabotage to be. I had written to the prior CEO, also, via emails. After receiving no response, I went to the DeKalb County Government building to apply for a meeting with Ellis in person. Burrell Ellis gave the impression of ignoring me, but I don't think he did. In fact, the day after I tried to see Ellis, two police officers arrived at my home with a mental health worker to threaten me not to ever tell police superiors about police ignoring my complaints. That was a rude, outright violation against my civil rights if not a criminal violation of the public trust. I think Ellis sent them. Officials like to pretend not to know about my illegal oppression, especially those who have a duty to correct such conditions once they know about them. Ellis faces incarceration himself at this time on charges for other corruption. God fights for righteousness.

Georgia pretends to be proud of one of its most famous native sons - Rev. Martin Luther King, Jr., who spent his adult life urging America to "be true to what she said on paper" and honor the human and civil rights of all its citizens. He organized pickets and marches throughout the South and in Washington, D.C. to alert the world to how African Americans were being treated sub-human. When I went downtown Atlanta in 2010 and stood on the corner of Auburn Avenue, the street where Dr. King was born, where it intersects with Peachtree Street, I warned my people that The Cochran Firm frauds had been awarded a dismissal in "Neals v. The Cochran Firm" on the supposition that the Atlanta office, where I served suit, was not a Cochran Firm office. I told passers-by about my mentally ill brother's lynching, which The Cochran Firm's deliberately prevented from going to court, although the firm was under contract to work in the Neals' interests.

I picketed there because The Cochran Firm was again in the position to defraud a black family in a wrongful death by police case, the murder of 92-year-old Kathryn Johnston, who Atlanta police killed in a home invasion in 2006. Black police officers arrived and threatened me, telling me I'd better get my ass home before they Taser and arrest me. When I complained to officials, the city's mayor, Kasim Reed, and mostly black administrators told me they thought the police did the right thing. In Nazi Germany, elders were killed right along with the 300,000 mentally ill people of all races, in order to make an "efficient nation." I have proof that the Kathryn Johnston case was also mishandled.

One of the main reasons for my surveillance and violations against my First Amendment rights probably happen is because I exposed The Cochran Firm fraud against African Americans. The Cochran Firm defrauded my family while under contract as our wrongful death attorneys for my handicapped brother, Larry Neal. We then sued for malpractice and fraud, but The Cochran Firm committed perjury which was accepted by two Atlanta, Georgia courts - Georgia Superior Court and United States District Court (USDC). The firm claimed not to have any law offices at all in Georgia. Now The Cochran Firm is in California courts conflicting its own statements made in the Georgia courts. It claims in California that all Cochran Firm offices are one firm. I believe The Cochran Firm may be a continuation of the CoIntelPro program, whose mandate was to "keep wealth out of black hands." Central California USDC pronounced on May 12, 2015, that The Cochran Firm is NOT a law firm. That should end the covert racism against its own clients by these officers of the court. See the court order below in the article below: "Cochran Firm Fraud Fails in California Court"
http://freespeakblog.blogspot.com/2015/06/cochran-firm-fraud-fails-in-ca-court.html

I continue to advocate for mentally ill Americans, who are treated like the "least among us, His brethren." It is dangerous to threaten the prison industrial complex, which makes most of its $100billion per year by imprisoning America's mentally ill citizens. Therefore, I report anything that makes me uncomfortable but usually not in this blog, which might be read by persons who are particularly sensitive regarding this issue - mentally ill Americans and their families. I felt very uncomfortable when a U.S. Marshal came to my house and warned me about a murder suspect with an automatic weapon he claimed was living two doors away from me, and I made the report in my "FreeSpeakBlog". The marshal could not explain why he did not search the house he spoke about or why the Government felt I should receive a direct warning while none of my neighbors were warned. It seemed to be more government intimidation.
http://freespeakblog.blogspot.com/2014/01/murderous-dramatization-staring-mary.html

I continue to struggle for satisfactory closure regarding my personal justice quest regarding the secret arrest and wrongful death of my mentally, physically disabled brother, Larry Neal, who was murdered in Memphis Shelby County Jail in 2003 after 18 days of secret arrest. At AIMI, we continue to advocate for 1.25 million mentally ill Americans behind bars who should be in hospitals or community care under assisted outpatient treatment (AOT) programs. It is very difficult to do this work with inadequate equipment. I noted today that my cellphone cannot take pictures (a new phone), and my computer is being attacked more frequently. I object to these intrusions against my human and civil rights, and I am not afraid to object all the way to the United Nations. When people anywhere are being targeted for isolation and murdered en masse, as mentally ill people are in the United States, it should be addressed by the United Nations and all world citizens. See "AIMI vs. USA" online.

To increase security, I immediately share whatever happens with the public via Internet. I will continue to do that at least until the Trans-Pacific Partnership Act (TPP) deletes Americans' freedom of press online. Then we will find other ways to communicate. Slaves did, civil rights advocates did in the 1960's, and so will we find alternative methods to give Assistance to the Incarcerated Mentally Ill. This work will continue, no matter who objects to mentally ill Americans having human rights. As I have told CoIntelPro repeatedly, I am not their slave. Warren Hill Death Warrant Issued

Warren Hill was originally sentenced to life imprisonment for shooting his girlfriend, Myra Wright, in 1986. He was subsequently sentenced to death for killing his cellmate, Joseph Handspike.

Georgia is preparing to EXECUTE the mentally ill man who "somehow" got a board of wood with long nails driven through it and beat his cellmate to death while he slept. Did the prison know how dangerous Hill was? Absolutely. He was already imprisoned for murder. And how on earth did Hill get a board and nails to make a Midieval club like the one pictured below? Hill's murder by the State on January 27, 2015, and his victim's murder, will be included in our "AIMI vs. USA" legal action before the International Court in 2015.

If inmates can be endangered and killed by locking them in cells with murderous mentally ill people, which has happened in Georgia correctional facilities more than once, then every prisoner is at risk. Correctional officers and prison administrators who apply this lack of care are intended to escape accountability by executing the mentally ill inmates who kill their cellmates. The inmates who kill will bare the blame, not the prison which should be a "controlled environment."

"AIMI vs. USA" will take the USA before the International Court for dereliction of its duty to protect the rights of institutionalized persons, such as Hill and his victim, Handspike. Hill should have had no opportunity to ascertain a board and nails, and his victim should not have been in the cell with a homicidal mentally ill man like Hill.

Read about The Civil Rights of Institutionalized Persons Act (CRIPA) of 1980, a United States federal law intended to protect the rights of people in state or local correctional facilities, nursing homes, mental health facilities and institutions for people with intellectual and developmental disabilities (Wikipedia). The U.S. Justice Department totally ignores its responsibility to uphold that Act; an "act" is all it is (see the links to information about CRIPA below).

As Rev. Dr. Martin Luther King said over 50 years ago, "All we say to America is, 'Be true to what you said on paper.'" That is still a huge problem, and no group of people anywhere on planet earth is as oppressed as Americans with mental disabilities in custody. They are regularly tortured and killed without any accountability being demanded. Some are tortured for sport and killed in grotesque Medieval ways, including death by scalding, death by roasting, death by hanging, and forcing mentally ill inmates to entertain correctional officers by engaging in gladiator fights (to the finish, in some cases).

It is likely that Hill's mental illness was untreated before he killed Myra Wright, his first victim. Neglect likely caused both murders.

Happy Martin Luther King's Day 2015. Let us stand up together and demand that Americans with mental disabilities like Warren Hill be protected, moved into mental hospitals instead of jails and prisons, and that mental illness be decriminalized in the United States of America. Nobody deserves to be misused as prison commodities because of a common, treatable health condition. If the renowned human rights leader, Dr. King, were alive, we at Assistance to the Incarcerated Mentally Ill (AIMI) believe decriminalizing mental illness would be one of his main objectives. Please make it one of yours. Read more about "AIMI vs. USA" at http://AIMI-HumanRights.blogspot.com

How can you help? Follow this blog, share this article, and listen to the George Mallinckrodt Blogtalkradio presentations taped January 11 and January 15, 2015 (links are in this blog). Mallinckrodt exposed brutality and a murder against mentally ill inmates in his book, "Getting Away with Murder" and was fired from his position as a psychotherapist in Florida prisons as a consequence of his objections to torture. Human and civil rights of persons with mental disabilities in the United States are treated as nonexistent.

Scott Panetti, TX Cowboy: Execution Dec. 3

One of our Americans with mental disabilities is scheduled to be executed on December 3, 2014. Scott Panetti's sentence should be commuted because he is very sick, plus he had ineffectual counsel - himself.

Does the United States justice system find mental illness entertaining? Do officials over justice consider it funny to kill mentally disabled citizens? Texas Coalition to Abolish the Death Penalty shared a video exposing the trial of Scott Panetti, who was charged with murdering his in-laws on September 8, 1992. The court allowed this untreated man who suffered from severe paranoid schizophrenia to conduct his own defense wearing a cowboy outfit and be sentenced to death.

Panetti's father expressed a loss of faith in the justice system after watching his very sick son try to defend himself. He expected Judge Steven Ables to stop the trial when it was obvious how unprepared Panetti was, but Judge Ables allowed the trial to continue to the end. Perhaps Edith Jones is not the only judge in America who believes that a death sentence provides a public service by allowing an inmate to "make peace with God." See the video below and at YouTube link http://youtu.be/0WTn78SIRvc . News and viewpoints are censored regarding how America mistreats its acute mentally ill citizens.

December 3, 2014 UPDATE: The video is embedded below and now available on YouTube at the link,
http://youtu.be/obBaLvWZ8HE

The United Nations requests that the United States commute Panetti's sentence based on human decency and the Convention Against Torture.
http://www.un.org/apps/news/story.asp?NewsID=49487

Original text resumes: Panetti's appeals have been denied since he was sentenced to execution. Some judges have disdain for defendants who are mentally ill. The Austin Chronicle reports that Justice Edith Jones, who sits on the 5th U.S. Circuit Court of Appeals – based in New Orleans, its jurisdiction includes Texas – made numerous offensive and biased comments during a February lecture at the University of Pennsylvania School of Law, according to the complaint filed pursuant to the federal Judicial Conduct and Disability Act. She told law students and other attendees that she thought the U.S. Supreme Court's ruling outlawing the death penalty for the mentally retarded did intellectually disabled individuals a disservice, and that to create such an exemption from execution was a "slippery slope," reads the complaint.

"In describing … what Judge Jones said about these cases, I am not able to capture the complete outrage she expressed over the crimes or the disgust she evinced over the defense raised, particularly by the defendants who claimed to be mentally retarded," reads the declaration, filed with the complaint, of veteran Pennsylvania-based death penalty attorney Marc Bookman, who attended the lecture. "Judge Jones's disgust at how these defendants were 'using mental retardation' was very evident and very disconcerting," reads the complaint. Austin Chronicle Report on Judith Jones
http://www.austinchronicle.com/blogs/news/2013-06-04/judge-edith-jones-blacks-and-hispanics-more-violent/

An excerpt from Yahoo Voices described the Panetti trial: "Dressed in costume like one of the actors in an old Western Movie, with a big brimmed cowboy hat hanging on his shoulders by the strap, plaid shirt, bandanna, fancy cowboy boots, and spurs, Scott Panetti proceeded to defend himself, playing out the role of lawyer. The prevailing judge, Ables allowed his court to be turned into a three ring circus as jurors watched, stunned at what they were seeing and hearing, some fearing the man they watched before them."

An attorney who was called by Panetti as a witness shared his observations, stating: “The courtroom had the atmosphere of a circus. The judge just seemed to let Scott run free with his irrational questions and courtroom antics.”
http://www.internationaljusticeproject.org/illnessSPanetti.cfm

Panetti's ex-wife, whose parents were killed, does not feel that Panetti should die for his crime that resulted from untreated mental illness. And obviously, nobody should defend himself in a capital murder case, especially not a paranoid schizophrenic man dressed as a cowboy. Panetti's trial was an outrageous exercise that has probably provided justice officials many laughs for over 20 years while Scott Panetti awaits the needle on death row in Texas.

Homelessness, prison and death must discontinue being America's answer to acute mental illness. Nobody deserves execution for having a health crisis.

UPDATE: Assistance to the Incarcerated Mentally Ill (AIMI) plans to take the wrongful execution of Scott Panetti (if he is killed) along with the wrongful internment of mentally ill Americans on death row in Texas (including Jeff Wood and Andre Thomas as well as Panetti) before the International Court in 2015. This is an outrage. Visit our website and join conversations on the first weekend of each month about protecting the human rights of mentally ill Americans in International Court at http://AIMI-HumanRights.blogspot.com

Two homeless men were shot to death in Atlanta by an unidentified killer while they slept during Thanksgiving week 2014. Three New Mexico teens were charged with beating homeless people to death in Albuquerque in July 2014. The homeless are not always mentally ill, but people with psychiatric conditions are over-represented among the chronically homeless. Americans should demand that our legal system not act like those sick killers.

Unarmed Mariam Carey Killed by D.C. Police; Man Sets Himself on Fire on National Mall

Police pulled the child from the rented black sedan, then EXECUTED an unarmed woman on Capitol Hill. Another dead mental patient. How can we expect the rest of the nation's police officers to use restraint if it is not used in the nation's capital? Why was Mariam Carey killed rather than apprehended? Did she reach for a baby diaper?

ABC reports: Miriam Carey's family said she had been suffering from postpartum depression with psychosis.

Interviews with some of those who knew the Stamford resident suggested she was coming apart well before she loaded her 1-year-old daughter into the car for the 275-mile drive to Washington, D.C.
Carey had suffered a head injury in a fall and had been fired as a dental hygienist, her former employer said.

“Deadly force was not necessary,” Mariam Carey's sister said. Valerie, who is also in law enforcement, says that police could have rammed her car or disabled it instead. They didn’t have to take her life in the process.

“There had to be something else they could have done,” said Amy Carey, another sister.

Many people are in crisis. A man set himself on fire on the National Mall in Washington on October 4. Thank goodness the police did not shoot him. He sustained life-threatening injuries and was airlifted to the hospital. Huffington Post reports: "Katy Scheflen said passing joggers took off their shirts in an effort to help douse the flames, and the man was clearly alive as the fire spread. A police department spokesman said he was conscious and breathing at the scene. MedStar Washington Hospital Center tweeted that the man was taken there and he was in critical condition." He later died.

Before you or someone you care about experiences a mental health crisis caused by a head injury like Mariam Carey, an infection that goes to the brain, like my brother Larry Neal, or age-onset dementia, like 107-year-old Monroe Isadore, it would be a good idea for you to help give ASSISTANCE TO THE INCARCERATED MENTALLY ILL. Sick people deserve timely treatment, not homelessness, prison, and death. You can help by sharing this article and others from "Dog Justice for Mentally Ill" blog. Georgia Kills Mentally Ill Inmates: Warren Hill

Original report: If Warren Hill is executed in the State of Georgia on February 19, 2013, it will send a message to all jails and prisons: If correction officers want an inmate murdered, simply put him in the cell with a homicidal mentally ill prisoner and give the sick prisoner a weapon. The mentally ill man will kill the unwanted inmate, then he will himself be executed like Warren Hill. End of story, friends. It is like killing two birds with one stone. Or is it? We must sue the State for Wrongful Death on behalf of Hill and his victim. Make executions of the mentally ill very expensive, especially when the crimes that give rise to the executions are caused by gross negligence or worse! Petitions, rallies, marches, and heartfelt pleas do not matter nearly as much as cold, hard cash to heartless people. Numerous states have eliminated executions in large part because of the expense. The best way to end capital punishment is to make it even more costly by abolitionists' lawsuits. Please see this article about Warren Hill from my anti-DP blog - "Georgia Murders the Mentally Ill: Warren Hill." It is at the following link

Brandon Rhode: Brain damaged young man executed by Georgia (2010)

Georgia cyberstalkers, why did you remove the paragraph about Brandon Rhode from the article at the link above? Brandon Rhode, 31, was another mentally challenged man who Georgia killed in 2010. I replaced the paragraph about Rhode after having emailed it without the information. Officials obviously already know that executing retarded and mentally ill people is illegal and immoral, or they would not have cyberstalkers to hide their offenses. Brandon had an alcoholic drug-addicted mother and was born brain damaged. He killed someone when he was a teen. A decade later, Georgia killed Brandon with faulty drugs purchased from the back of a bicycle shop in London, because other countries were making it hard for America to get execution drugs. Brandon tried to commit suicide days before his execution, but he was saved for the slaughter.

Mentally ill people continue to be brutalized and murdered under the color of law in the United States. New York Post reports that the mentally ill are being rounded-up in New York City right now. See the Post article, tastelessly entitled "Scoop the Nuts"
http://www.nypost.com/p/news/local/scoop_the_nuts_TujGFMPDFLCfDgxDqmjHIL Who is next?
Presumably, mentally ill New Yorkers are being arrested without crimes or defense, as NDAA provides. Perhaps the mentally disabled will be America's first FEMA camp detainees, just as they were isolated in Nazi Germany concentration camps before World War II. Roughly 300,000 to 400,000 were murdered, including persons labeled as "nuts" who were as young as age two years.

Before you shrug and say, "Not my problem," please remember that the Nazis only started with the mentally ill. Then the internment and murders soon spread to Germany's political dissidents as well as its minorities, including Jews, blacks, and homosexuals. Eventually the entire country existed behind an Iron Curtain, and nobody there was free.
Save Warren Hill. Gov. Deal's Chief of Staff, Chris Riley, and his executive assistant, Carrie Ashbee, are at (404) 656-1776. Please ask that Warren Hill not be loaded onto the same table where Troy Davis was executed in 2011, without proof of guilt, and slaughtered because black men and the mentally ill seemingly have no protected right to life in the United States of America, which is proved by stories at the seven links below. They make a total of eleven(11) links for this article, one(1) embedded video, and three(3) photographs.

Human Rights for Prisoners March

Thank you for visiting and sharing articles at Dog Justice for the Mentally Ill.

Thank you officials, judges, and Supreme Court justices for giving consideration to human rights for people in the United States, without regard to race, sex, ethnicity, health status, financial "worth", or any other distinction. Please be guided by the Golden Rule regarding Warren Hill and every inmate who is appointed to death. Be guided by God (Psalm 102:19-20).

Dog Justice is needed for retarded and mentally ill people in the United States.

Don't Execute the Mentally Ill, America

It is illegal to execute the mentally ill, but laws are selectively ignored. Awkal Abdul is a Muslim man with brown skin and disqualified from whatever criterion one must meet to be spared from capital punishment like wealthy people are and certain police officers who the public has seen kill without provocation on videos. Awkal is scheduled to be executed on June 6, and there are six links in this article.

Youngstown News reports:"Awkal was diagnosed with schizoaffective disorder. He is reported to have had delusions that included a belief that he managed the U.S. military efforts in Iraq and Afghanistan, and that he has been in direct communication with the CIA and Presidents George W. Bush and Barack Obama." See the entire article at this link to Youngstown News     http://www.vindy.com/news/2012/jun/03/inmate-fights-to-avoid-death/?newswatch The reporter reminded readers about Ohio's Romell Broom execution debacle in September 2009. Broom was tortured for hours while executioners tried to find his veins to infuse his body with poison. Broom became so distraught that he started to cry and tried to help the guards find his veins and kill him. Finally, Gov. Strickland stopped the barbaric execution. Brommel's torture was one of the horror stories in my article entitled: "Prison Torture in the USA, by Mary Neal" at this link http://freespeakblog.blogspot.com/2009/09/prison-torture-within-usa-by-mary-neal.html

Experts recently determined that another innocent man was executed. The Atlantic carried the report on May 14, 2012: "Carlos DeLuna was put to death in December 1989 for a murder in Corpus Christi. But he didn't commit the crime." He was killed for a crime done by another Carlos: Carlos Hernandez. To read more about the case in The Atlantic, use this link http://www.theatlantic.com/national/archive/2012/05/yes-america-we-have-executed-an-innocent-man/257106/

These are the circumstances that We the People permit by allowing capital punishment to continue: (1) Mentally ill people like Awkal are killed, (2) condemned people like Broom are sometimes tortured in horrible acts of barbarism sanctioned by the State and funded by taxpayers, and (3) occasionally, innocent people like Carlos Deluna die. A fourth consideration is that race and class matter in deciding which accused murderers face capital punishment as their penalty. This is partly because poor and working class people are less able to afford good legal counsel. Public defenders continue to be underfunded and overwhelmed by heavy caseloads. All of those circumstances can be eliminated only by repealing the death penalty. Furthermore, Ohio residents likely need the extra money that death penalty cases require.

People who do not want to repeal capital punishment to save lives may be interested repealing it to save money. According to Death Penalty Information Center (DPIC), it costs states an average of $70,000 more per year for each condemned inmate than it would cost for the inmate to LIVE in a maximum security prison. This is outrageous, since $70k is more money than most American families of four have as their annual income. It is more humane, fair, and economical to repeal capital punishment like Connecticutt recently did when it became the seventeenth state to say "DEATH TO THE DEATH PENALTY." DPIC offers an audio presentation related to the cost of capital punishment at its online site and this link http://www.deathpenaltyinfo.org/episode-3-cost

It is not likely that Ohio will repeal capital punishment in time to save Awkal. But there is still time for some righteous judge or for the Board of Pardons and Paroles in Ohio to call off the murder of a sick man. Rev. Martin Luther King, Jr. made a simple request over four decades ago. He said, "All we say to America is, 'Be true to what you said on paper.'" Our law says it is illegal to execute the mentally ill because of their compromised sense of reason. Let us insist that the justice system must obey its own laws. A petition to stop the execution is at this link  http://www.change.org/petitions/commute-the-death-sentence-of-abdul-awkal

Thank you in advance for calling and emailing Ohio's justice officials and governor. http://www.usa.gov/Contact/Elected.shtml Use this link for any officials.

A man is about to be executed today. I would protest even if he were not mentally ill, because government officials and systems are too corrupt to have power over who lives and who dies.
