Advocacy for Mentally Ill People and Their Families

ADVOCACY OFFERED. As a woman who is denied information and justice regarding the wrongful death of an inmate (Google the Wrongful Death of Larry Neal), I stand with all inmates in their quest for human rights and with the families of all inmates whose human rights were disregarded to deny justice in court or to inflict torture and death. Contact me with your innocence claims and brutality or murder claims at telephone number (678)531.0262 and MaryLovesJustice@gmail.com. Write "HELP WANTED" as your email subject. No regard is given to clients' race, socioeconomic class, gender, ethnicity, or health status.

If denied justice in courts, take your justice quests to the court of public opinion through our "Human Rights for Prisoners March" across the Internet. My efforts are greatly censored, but we persist and eventually prevail in making the masses aware of the crimes against humanity that continue in the United States. Advocacy can make a difference in whether your lawsuit prevails and the amount of your award. Advocacy is also needed for inmates who face or already experienced wrongful convictions and are pursuing appeals or clemency. Many prisoners require adequate medical services that are sometimes withheld, and they need people outside who will be their voice.

Congress is deliberating on whether the Internet will be treated as a utility and charges demanded for the amount of time people use the Internet. I am sometimes online 20 hours a day, especially when someone I advocate for faces execution. Officials are also deliberating on whether information on the Internet will enjoy greater visibility for a fee instead of all web sites being given equal access (net freedom). We must not be silenced for the lack of money. Therefore, services that MaryLovesJustice has given free for seven years will now require financial participation by the victims and families who benefit by our advocacy. The fee schedule for twelve(12) services is below.

1) Radio interview with victims, survivors and supporters on either "Human Rights for Prisoners March" or "Assistance to the Incarcerated Mentally Ill" Blogtalkradio shows: FREE

2) Radio interview with victims, survivors and supporters on "Human Rights Demand" channel at Blogtalkradio: $50 (two-hour shows)

3) Full length article about brutality or murder: $100. Articles will be published in one or more of these five blogs:
a) FreeSpeakBlog
b) Dog Justice for Mentally Ill
c) Human Rights for Prisoners March
d) MaryLovesJustice

e) Davis-MacPhail Truth Committee (anti-DP blog)
Many of the articles are republished by other bloggers and independent news sites at no addition fee. The articles about your case should help attract legal support and enhance the likelihood of success for justice quests.

4) Articles to announce meetings, rallies and protests or political messages (if approved): FREE in "MaryLovesJustice Human Rights Events" blog

5) Mention along with newspaper and blog links at @koffietime http://www.twitter.com/koffietime - FREE

6) Fundraisers for justice quests: $50. See examples:
a) Johnny Strozier Reentry Fund. Support his fresh start.
https://www.indiegogo.com/projects/johnny-strozier-reentry-fund
b) Mark Bowles Legal Defense Fund

7) Video and film on YouTube and Google Hangouts: $50

8) We announce legal victories that set new precedents and/or have significance for large numbers of Americans through articles published at our "Legal Victories" blog. Law firms and civil or human rights organizations that win victories or make significant steps toward justice can have those victories publicized in Legal Victories blog: FREE

9) Posts on Facebook and at Google+ and Twitter about your justice quests that will be read by thousands of MaryLovesJustice and @koffietime friends, including prisoner rights advocates, lawyers, law firms, law schools, Congress, the U.S. Supreme Court, and the general public: FREE

10) Flyers and cards that can be given to people and organizations describing your justice quest: $50

11) A petition at MoveOn.org or another petition site of your choice: $50. Sample: "Save Florida Inmate Damion Hayes from Life in SHU"
http://petitions.moveon.org/sign/save-florida-inmate-damion

12) Website: $150. See a website I published for a daycare center - Love and Grace Christian Academy
http://www.loveandgrace.net/

13) Get all of the services listed above on a one-by-one basis for the prices named, or receive all the services listed above plus ongoing advocacy for a one-time fee of $500: unlimited public updates through articles, radio interviews, and other releases of information related to your case.

Payment of fees can be delayed for cases that are in litigation until satisfactory resolution of your wrongful death and brutality lawsuits. For some cases, it may be too late to pursue legal remedy through lawsuits, but now is the time to expose and oppose oppression. We must not be deterred by cyber censorship or new fees for Internet usage. "The time is always right to do what is right" (MLK).

I was a legal assistant for many years before the secret arrest and wrongful death of my mentally, physically disabled brother, Larry Neal. His murder is still treated like a national secret despite all of my advocacy. I am currently enrolled in a human rights defender course to become a Certified Human Rights Advocate to the United Nations. Many of our cases will be taken before the U.N. if they have been denied justice in U.S. Courts. A complete list of blogs and radio programs that I manage is at "MaryLovesJustice Blogs and Radio Shows"
http://marylovesjustice.blogspot.com/2014/03/marylovesjustice-blogs-and-radio-shows.html

The United States is a member of the United Nations and has signed certain treaties that it is accountable to uphold. See Executive Order No. 13107, wherein President Bill Clinton reaffirmed America's commitment to uphold the human rights of people in the U.S.A. Yet, according to International Human Rights Lawyer Mustafa Ansari, fewer than one percent of the complaints that the United Nations reviews originate in the U.S., although many crimes against humanity happen here. We will change that for some of the victims and survivors for whom we advocate.

Americans must unite for justice. Our strength in numbers will eventually end police brutality, prisoner abuse, and executions. Millions of people who have no relatives or friends behind bars care about human rights for prisoners. Those who do have imprisoned and reentering relatives and all human rights advocates should join the "Human Rights for Prisoners March" across the Internet and demand respect for all. We will begin sending membership cards to supporters of this advocacy who send any amount of money to help. We have to continually purchase new computers as ours are attacked by NSA or other cyber stalkers who seemingly work for prison investors.

We also need a budget to offer our services to people who are unable to pay the nominal fees listed above for our advocacy and to license our organization as a non-profit. Please give generously to the "Human Rights for Prisoners March" and to "Assistance to the Incarcerated Mentally Ill." Become a member of this advocacy. Members will be thanked on air during our broadcasts, but anonymous givers are also appreciated and will not be thanked publicly. Prison investors, past and present, who recognize the great harm that is being done to humanity to earn prison profits are encouraged to contribute. A U.S. Post Office box will be listed here for your checks and money orders, and we will post a PayPal depository for your convenience.

Thank you in advance for sharing this article with twelve (12) services to give voice to the voiceless. Please mail our contact information to families and prisoners who need advocacy. We appreciate your joining us on the Human Rights for Prisoners March. Nine(9) links and three pictures are in this article (counting the repeat of paragraph 1 below). Volunteers are also invited to contact us as we build our network. Please do not let the loss of net freedom negatively impact prisoners' right to speak and be heard. Blessings!

Wrongful Death of Daniel Linsinbigler at Blogtalkradio

Valerie Linsinbigler, joined "Human Rights Demand" on July 19, 2014, at 3pm EDT to discuss the murder of her teenage son, Daniel, by SUFFOCATION while in a restraint chair in Clay County Jail in Florida. See Daniel's photograph below. The radio show is archived at Blogtalkradio. You can hear it any time by accessing it at the url below:
http://www.blogtalkradio.com/humanrightsdemand/2014/07/19/release-the-innocent
Please also see an article about Daniel in this "Dog Justice for Mentally Ill" blog at http://dogjusticeformentallyill.blogspot.com/2014/07/and-then-daniel-linsinbigler-died.html

Plan to join us by phone or computer on "Human Rights Demand" channel at Blogtalkradio daily at 3pm EDT, except Fridays, when we broadcast at 6:30pm EDT. Every show regards human rights.

Speakers on "The Wrongful Death of Daniel Linsinbigler" radio broadcast included:
1. Valerie Linsinbigler, Daniel's mother
2. Marissa Linsinbigler, Daniel's sister
3. Leonna Brandao, president of New Vision Organization, Inc, and NVO's vice president
4. Holly Alston, mother of a mentally ill prisoner in Pennsylvania, Terrell Scott
5. Ana Santiago, mother of an inmate serving a life sentence in Massachusetts
6. Ted Burgess, a former law officer and correctional officer whose son Christopher was murdered in Clay County Jail on December 5, 2002. His death was apparently covered-up by calling it a suicide. A news story about Christopher was published by the Florida Times Union, Jacksonville.com, called "An Inmate's Death in Question"
http://jacksonville.com/tu-online/stories/121402/nec_11214666.shtml

7. Mary Neal, host, and sister of Larry Neal, a mentally ill heart patient who was killed in Memphis Shelby County Jail on August 1, 2003, after 18 days of secret incarceration. His death is so covered-up that his relatives are persecuted and censored to prevent public disclosure.

I informed our guests and radio audience about:

(1) H.R.3717 "Helping Families in Mental Health Crisis Act," a congressional bill that would resume Medicaid insurance in certain facilities and start pilot AOT programs (among other provisions) that would increase opportunities for psychiatric treatment in the USA. See the next article in the "Dog Justice for Mentally Ill" blog, which is called
"Washington Tour for H.R.3717 Supporters"
http://dogjusticeformentallyill.blogspot.com/2014/07/washington-tour-for-hr3717-supporters.html

(2) a wrongful death lawsuit that was filed after the statute of limitations passed but was allowed by the Ninth U.S. Circuit Court of Appeals in San Francisco because a police cover-up caused the family's late filing. (This also was alleged in Christopher Burgess's case and in the wrongful death of Larry Neal):

Families of people with serious mentally illness and everyone who cares about human and civil rights must unite for justice. We appreciate your interest in the information at the five(5) links above, and we ask you to share it with your online groups. Please plan to join members of Assistance to the Incarcerated Mentally Ill on our Washington tour for supporters of H.R.3717 the "Helping Families in Mental Health Crisis Act," tentatively planned for September. Many avoidable deaths should make America's mental health crisis a campaign issue in 2014. Elect only people who support human rights in the USA for all Americans, including mentally ill people and prisoners.

Daniel Linsinbigler, 19, was reportedly handcuffed, pepper-sprayed, hooded, Tasered, and placed in a restraint chair with a cloth that was also pepper-sprayed and placed underneath the hood to suffocate him.

It would be illegal to keep a dog in a tight space 23 hours a day and gas or Taser him for barking. It would be illegal to put a dog in deadly restraint for control. This happens to mentally ill Americans routinely in the nation's jails and prisons. What happened to Larry Neal?

Mentally Ill Americans Need Dog Justice. Treat mental illness medically, not legally. Please advocate for the U.S. Congress to pass H.R.3717 - Helping Families in Mental Health Crisis Act. Elect only people who support human rights and justice for all.

Washington Tour for H.R.3717 Supporters

WASHINGTON TOUR FOR FAMILIES OF MENTALLY CHALLENGED AMERICANS IN FAVOR OF H.R.3717 "Helping Families in Mental Health Crisis Act". Although the bill has good support in Congress, it needs advocacy by the stakeholders. Many people are impacted by severe mental illness in themselves or close family members, and a Washington tour is being planned for them and others who wish to support justice for the mentally ill. As we have seen in numerous avoidable tragedies, mental illness affects us all, whether or not a relative has that condition.

We will reserve D.C. hotel rooms and buses to leave from CA, GA, MO, NY, and a couple of other states soon. We will begin accepting down payments on YOUR TRIP after we get some pricing information (proposals are requested from bus companies and travel agencies). This is Going To Happen, People. We will take this fight to D.C. before election day 2014 - likely in September! Only support candidates who support human rights. No more long-term #solitaryconfinement #policebrutality or #prison deaths for mentally ill Americans. We demand psychiatric treatment and human rights!

If Congress won't listen to us rather than prison investors, we will take this fight to the United Nations. Volunteer by commenting below if you are willing to be an organizer for the Washington tour in your region, or email MaryLovesJustice@gmail.com . Congressman Tim Murphy (PA-18, a psychologist) has a bill before Congress that will answer many of our concerns. We REFUSE to be ignored.

If you care about people with Autism, schizophrenia, bipolar disorder, dementia, depression, PTSD, or any other serious mental disorder, please support this Washington tour for families of people with brain disorders who are brutalized, imprisoned, homeless, or those who are at greater risk for those occurrences than mentally healthy Americans.  Support this Washington tour if you want safer communities and a lower prison budget (currently over $80 billion annually). H.R.3717 provides for four essential changes:
  • Resumption of Medicaid insurance for psychiatric inpatients in certain facilities;
  • Assisted outpatient programs (AOT) that allow involuntary psychiatric treatment and give subsistence assistance (food, housing);
  • Crisis Intervention Team (CIT) training for police officers and prison guards who need specialized training to make safer lunacy arrests and to avoid injuries to mentally ill detainees;
  • Relaxed HIPPA rules, which will allow families of mentally ill people to know about their relative's condition and treatment.
We also demand better accountability when mentally ill people are mistreated or killed by law enforcement and corrections officers.

Please indicate your interest in going on the Washington Tour for H.R.3717 or your willingness to help sponsor a family on this trip. Call Mary Neal, director of Assistance to the Incarcerated Mentally Ill, at 678.531.0262 or use the email address above.

We tire of Americans with mental handicaps being imprisoned to enrich prison profiteers, brutalized by police or neighborhood thugs, and killed behind bars or before they reach jails because they have common, treatable health conditions. We have in H.R.3717 a congressional bill that can significantly reduce those occurrences and restore people with serious mental illness to wholesome lives. It is time for families and advocates to do everything in our power. More information will be added to this article as details about the Washington tour emerge. The warehousing of 1.25 million mentally ill Americans in prisons and jails has continued long enough. It is time for real Change.

It is always the right time to do what is right. ~ Rev. Martin Luther King, Jr.

Please read H.R.3717. Its language, status and co-sponsors are at

JAIL IS THE LAST THING MENTAL PATIENTS NEED ... AND TOO OFTEN, IT IS THE LAST THING THEY EXPERIENCE. Please join our quest to decriminalize mental illness in America. No one should be punished for having a disability. Please contact your congressional representative today and demand that hospitalization and outpatient treatment replace incarceration for the mentally ill people in your state. Support H.R.3717 by emailing your reps today at http://www.house.gov/writerep

Please assist us by sharing this invitation and/or the url to our radio broadcasts with mentally ill people and their families as well as prisoner activists, mental health organizations, psychiatrists, psychologists, social workers, lawyers, congresspersons, students, law enforcement officers and administrators, and others who may have input or an interest in mental health law in the USA. Seeking Dog Justice for America's Mentally Ill People

Dog Justice: 23-year sentence for shooting police dog

A black youth was sentenced to 23 years for shooting a former police DOG. Cops who beat Kelly Thomas to death didn't serve a day. Cops who murdered Larry Neal under secret arrest were never even investigated. Virtually every murder and abuse of the mentally ill in this DogJustice blog was done by cops and corrections officers who were not prosecuted. Too bad black people and the mentally ill don't have Dog Justice, isn't it?
http://www.rawstory.com/rs/2014/07/11/florida-teen-gets-23-years-in-prison-for-fatal-shooting-of-a-former-police-dog/

I was so impressed with America's zeal to enforce justice for pit bulls that I penned this poem, wishing that certain people counted as much as dogs in America with their right to life, liberty, and pursuit of happiness protected like canine citizens:

DOG JUSTICE

Too bad you weren't a dog, my brother
In my heart, I cried
Many more people would care about you
And wonder why you died

You had no spots or floppy ears
You never fetched a ball
Instead, you were a human being
But poor, black, and flawed

You died in jail for mental illness
I know down in my heart
Your death would be investigated
If only you could bark

Dog deaths get swift justice
Their abusers are sent to jail
Poor Mama would have closure now
If you'd had a wagging tail

But you were made in God's image
And some day, I have no doubt
The mentally ill and American dogs
Will have at least equal clout

And Then Daniel Linsinbigler Died

THE LAST DAYS OF DANIEL LINSINBIGLER

by Susan Cooper Eastman
FolioWeekly.com

A mentally ill 19-year-old spent 10 days in solitary confinement in the Clay County Jail. Then he was pepper-sprayed and strapped into a restraint chair. Then deputies put a hood over his head. Then he died.

At about 8 a.m., a nurse in the jail recommended that he be restrained. At 8:07, Clay County Sheriff’s deputies entered his cell, pepper-sprayed him when he didn’t comply with their orders, and strapped him by the wrists, ankles and chest into a restraint chair on the cellblock. Snot and spit poured from Linsinbigler’s nose and mouth, a reaction to the pepper spray, so at 8:17, to shield themselves from his bodily fluids, deputies draped a TranZport Spit Hood over Linsinbigler’s head.

An hour later he was dead.

Linsinbigler suffocated to death in that chair, about 10 feet from an observation desk where a deputy was monitoring him, making notes on his condition every 15 minutes ...

The Linsinbiglers know they can’t get Daniel back, but they still want someone held accountable for his death. As someone who’s witnessed Florida’s criminal justice system firsthand, Valerie has made it her mission to get justice for her son.

“As God is my witness,” she says, “on my last breath. I will not stop fighting for him.”

UPDATE: Valerie, mother of Daniel Linsinbigler, will join "Human Rights Demand" Sat. at 3pm EDT to discuss the murder of her teenage son by SUFFOCATION while in a restraint chair in Clay County, FL. Plan to join us by phone or computer. Call (347) 857-3293 to speak on air. All callers will be able to tell about their own circumstances. The live broadcast and an archived tape will be available by computer at
http://www.blogtalkradio.com/humanrightsdemand/2014/07/19/release-the-innocent

Valerie has a fight on her hands. See a screenshot of my failed attempt to post the article about Daniel Linsinbigler at G+. Disregard for human life is often followed by coverups.

Jeffrey Wansley: Innocent in Mississippi

"Jeffrey Wansley: Innocent in Mississippi" was not intended to be published in our "Dog Justice for Mentally Ill" blog. It was created in the "Human Rights for Prisoners March" blog, where it is available for you now. Excuse our "vengeful librarians." Please access the article at the url below:

See an excerpt from the Wansley article below:

Wrongful convictions are the ultimate breakdown in the system. Prosecutors will almost never admit they made a mistake. Those who do are very rare and should absolutely be recognized for their integrity. The truth is not always pretty, but it should be acknowledged regardless of the professional consequences or embarrassment. A man’s life is worth much more than the tragic and ill-conceived notion that officials must always appear to be right and mistake-free in the execution of their responsibilities. An injustice anywhere is a threat to justice everywhere (MLK)

Rising Together
State of Mississippi“I call on every Mississippian, no matter what our race or region or party, to rise above our petty differences and build together the Mississippi our citizens deserve. Let us go forward from this time and place, unafraid to make the bold changes that will help us rise together.” – Gov. Phil Bryant
