If denied justice in courts, take your justice quests to the court of public opinion through our "Human Rights for Prisoners March" across the Internet. My efforts are greatly censored, but we persist and eventually prevail in making the masses aware of the crimes against humanity that continue in the United States. Advocacy can make a difference in whether your lawsuit prevails and the amount of your award. Advocacy is also needed for inmates who face or already experienced wrongful convictions and are pursuing appeals or clemency. Many prisoners require adequate medical services that are sometimes withheld, and they need people outside who will be their voice.

Congress is deliberating on whether the Internet will be treated as a utility and charges demanded for the amount of time people use the Internet. I am sometimes online 20 hours a day, especially when someone I advocate for faces execution. Officials are also deliberating on whether information on the Internet will enjoy greater visibility for a fee instead of all web sites being given equal access (net freedom). We must not be silenced for the lack of money. Therefore, services that MaryLovesJustice has given free for seven years will now require financial participation by the victims and families who benefit by our advocacy. The United States is a member of the United Nations and has signed certain treaties that it is accountable to uphold. See Executive Order No. 13107, wherein President Bill Clinton reaffirmed America's commitment to uphold the human rights of people in the U.S.A. Yet, according to International Human Rights Lawyer Mustafa Ansari, fewer than one percent of the complaints that the United Nations reviews originate in the U.S., although many crimes against humanity happen here. We will change that for some of the victims and survivors for whom we advocate.

Americans must unite for justice. Our strength in numbers will eventually end police brutality, prisoner abuse, and executions. Millions of people who have no relatives or friends behind bars care about human rights for prisoners. Those who do have imprisoned and reentering relatives and all human rights advocates should join the "Human Rights for Prisoners March" across the Internet and demand respect for all. We will begin sending membership cards to supporters of this advocacy who send any amount of money to help. We have to continually purchase new computers as ours are attacked by NSA or other cyber stalkers who seemingly work for prison investors. 

We also need a budget to offer our services to people who are unable to pay the nominal fees listed above for our advocacy and to license our organization as a non-profit. Current National Statistics on Recidivism
Bureau of Justice Statistics (BJS) studies have found high rates of recidivism among released prisoners. One study tracked 272,111 prisoners in 15 states after their release from prison in 1994.[1] The researchers found that:
Within three years:
~67.5 percent were rearrested (almost exclusively for felonies or serious misdemeanors)
~46.9 percent were reconvicted
~25.4 percent were resentenced to prison for a new crime

The offenders accumulated 4.1 million arrest charges before their most recent imprisonment and another 744,000 charges within three years of release.

Released prisoners with the highest rearrest rates were robbers (70.2 percent), those in prison for possessing, using or selling illegal weapons (70.2 percent), burglars (74.0 percent), larcenists (74.6 percent), those in prison for possessing or selling stolen property (77.4 percent), and motor vehicle thieves (78.8 percent).

Within three years, 2.5 percent of released rapists were arrested for another rape, and 1.2 percent of those who had served time for homicide were arrested for another homicide. See NIJ data at

Jerome Murdough Radio Interviews: Homeless Vet Baked at Riker's Island

Jerome Murdough, 56, was a homeless Marine Corps veteran who was roasted to death at Riker's Island Jail in February 2014. No New York official or prison officials notified Murdough's family when he expired in a solitary confinement cell where the temperature was over 100 degrees. Murdough was in a section of the prison where inmates should be checked by the correctional officers every 15 minutes, but this was not done.

Jerome Murdough suffered from schizophrenia and bipolar disorder. He was presumably arrested for trespassing and vagrancy when he sought shelter from harsh winter weather on the roof of a building in Harlem. Murdough had endured numerous misdemeanor arrests in the past, as is common among acute mental patients from the working class whose mental illness is essentially untreated.

Murdough would ordinarily visit his family at least once every three months and sometimes more often. He is survived by his 76-year-old mother, a middle aged sister, and a host of other relatives and friends. Associated Press (AP) notified Murdough's family of his death three weeks after he died.

Assistance to the Incarcerated Mentally Ill recognizes that Murdough's avoidable death is a worst case scenario of what happens when mental illness is criminalized instead of treated like a chronic health condition. Acute mental illness requires continuous monitoring and treatment like heart disease and other physical ailments. Treatment is ordinarily withheld when persons with severe mental illness suffer from anosognosia, which prevents them from realizing they have mental illness. Families are not permitted to commit mentally ill relatives to inpatient psychiatric treatment facilities unless they proved to be an immediate danger to self and others. Even when there are suicide attempts or assaults on family members and others, the mentally ill are usually jailed instead of treated in mental hospitals.

Severe mental illness is a disability that affects many of the 1.25 million mentally challenged inmates in America's jails and prisons. They comprise more than 60 percent of the 80,000 inmates who are relegated to solitary confinement, which further erodes their mental health. It costs at least $168,000 per year to incarcerate each inmate in New York and more for people who require special services like Murdough. Treating the mentally ill in AOT programs, which mandate continuous psychiatric care and provide subsistence assistance, is more affordable and just.

A retarded teenager visits his dad. He goes into the den and turns on the TV. A triple-x rated movie on the VCR begins to play. The boy masturbates. His young half-brother enters the den. The child immediately runs to tell his dad what he saw. The dad has always been ashamed of his mentally challenged son and now perceives an opportunity. If the teen goes to prison, the dad can stop paying child support. He calls police and says the teen exposed himself to his little brother. The young mentally ill man was tricked into a plea bargain, like many mental patients and juveniles are by corrupt prosecutors. He believed he was admitting to masturbation when in fact he was admitting to sexually assaulting his half-brother who was only seven years old. The teenager had been receiving disability income from Social Security since he was age five, when his mental illness was initially diagnosed. He received social security payments until his imprisonment on the false charges of sexual abuse. His support has not resumed.

After seven years of imprisonment that included rape and brutal beatings by other inmates and solitary confinement, the young man now lives HOMELESS because Social Security refuses to restart his payments after release from prison, and his mother lives too close to a recreation center to house someone who is registered as a sex offender. Social Security Administration told Ms. Goolsby that Georgia Prisons have NOT released records of the young man's incarceration, during which he was in the psychiatric program. Prison investors should NOT work in corrections or the judiciary.

#SocialSecurityAttorneys should please call Ms. Goolsby at (404) 390-7020 and offer your services on behalf of her son who has been HOMELESS for a year due to corruption in the prison system that obviously WANTS HIM BACK IN PRISON on vagrancy charges or worse. Ms. Goolsby said her son's probation officer said if he is homeless, he must come and live behind the probation office. That seems to be a planned opportunity to arrest the young man for vagrancy.

Roughly 1.25 million of America's inmates are mentally ill people who should be either hospitalized or released into community care programs, such as Kendra's Law and Laura's Law. These are assisted outpatient treatment (AOT) programs that mandate continuous psychiatric treatment and provide food and housing for seriously mentally ill people. It is less expensive on taxpayers and safer for our communities to treat mental illness than to await a crime to excuse the imprisonment of our most vulnerable citizens.

Terrell Scott and Shannon Nyamodi: Forcing a Plea

Scott Terrell, imprisoned 4.5 years without trial

4)   The December 28 shows may have failed to appear yet at the NNIA Blogtalkradio page because of our censored subject matter. Guests on the December 28th shows included Terrell Scott's mother and brother. Scott has been incarcerated for 4.5 years without trial in Pennsylvania. His mother, Holly Alston, has court documents showing that Scott's prosecutor prevents his case from going to trial by falsely claiming to the court that Scott is mentally unfit for trial and is being treated in a mental hospital. Scott is actually in prison and hoping for a trial to clear himself of the false charges. The family reports that the prosecutor and Scott's attorney seem to be working together against Scott. Apparently, the state cannot prove its case. Therefore, Scott is being held hostage to FORCE the innocent young man to sign a plea deal.

5)   When Ms. Alston reached out to the public through Assistance to the Incarcerated Mentally Ill (AIMI) and the National Network in Action radio shows, she reported that Scott's attorney had not visited her son but twice in nearly five years. Since AIMI brought this matter to public attention, she reports that Scott's lawyer now repeatedly visits her son and offers him plea deals. Everyone deserves an opportunity to prove innocence in an impartial court before a jury of his peers. Everyone deserves competent defense by an attorney who works for and not against his/her client. Nobody should be indefinitely detained without trial. Please agree that Pennsylvania is wrong. Terrell Scott deserves a trial to prove his innocence. If Pennsylvania concedes that the state cannot prove its case, Terrell Scott should be freed without having to sign lies on himself.

Since learning that Scott's prosecutor is filing false information in court to prevent trial for the youth, NNIA was prevented from going on air at Blogtalkradio on December 22 and December 26. We do not know if this was done because of the new information in Scott's case, or if it was to prevent further discourse on the Shannon Nyamodi case.

10) Shannon is another black youth who is imprisoned without trial. He is imprisoned in North Carolina on ridiculous charges that also cannot be proved. Nyamodi rushed to a Caucasian woman's aid when she stumbled out of her house bleeding and screaming. She had been shot. Shannon, the good Samaritan, was arrested as the shooter despite the victim's and other witnesses' declarations that Shannon did not shoot her; he helped her and called 911. Google "Shannon Nyamodi: A Good Samaritan Imprisoned." (Shannon's article is in the "Human Rights for Prisoners" blog, because he has no mental illness. It was repeated in the "EXPOSED - FreeSpeakBlog" because of cybersalkers' interference.)

11) Shannon's mother, Elizabeth Crudup, had sought assistance from many people and organizations before this writer met her on social media. I published articles about Shannon and interviewed her on National Network in Action's radio shows. Ms. Crudup reports there is also an attempt to make Shannon sign false allegations against himself while officers of the court (his attorney and prosecutor) prevent his case from going to trial
